Palm Sunday
The Holy Eucharist with Liturgy of the Palms & Procession
Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 10am
Palm Sunday marks the commemoration of Jesus's entry into Jerusalem. In our liturgy at Christ Church, we use this as an opportunity to engage with our neighborhood, the University District of Seattle, before returning to our sanctuary for the Eucharist.

Please note that the first portion of this liturgy will involve walking approximately 6 city blocks.
Maundy Thursday
The Holy Eucharist with Foot Washing
Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 7pm
Maundy Thursday is the first of three liturgies that make up the Paschal Triduum, during which we observe Jesus's last meal with friends, foot washing, and arrest.

Good Friday
Good Friday Liturgy with Veneration of the Cross
Friday, April 15, 2022 at noon and 7pm
Good Friday is when we remember Jesus's trial and death at the hands of the authorities. There will be a quiet 12pm (noon) liturgy without music, and a 7pm liturgy.

Easter Vigil
The Great Vigil of Easter with Storytelling and Eucharist

The Great Vigil of Easter is a a time to recall the stories of the Old Testament, and events that contributed to and cumulated in Jesus's time on earth with us. At Christ Church, we tell stories around a literal campfire, which is also the source of our first Paschal flame of Easter. The liturgy begins exactly at sunset, and takes place in our courtyard on 47th Ave NE.

This liturgy will be inside due to inclement weather.
Easter Day
The Holy Eucharist Rite II
Sunday, April 17, 2022 at 10am
Easter Sunday will be at 10am as usual, though with celebratory brass and liturgy.

Following the liturgy, please join us for an Easter coffee hour in the courtyard!
